The Limestone Trail (Romania) is formed by a 150 km routes network located in the Central part of the Trascău Mountain, in Transylvania. The trail is developed on three parallel valleys and offers the possibility to visit 15 natural reservations, proposed to be included into a Natura 2000 site and within the future Trascău-Muntele Mare Natural Park. Well known mainly due to the Rîmetului Gorges, the Central part of the Trascău is remarkable through a high number of natural reservations, through old traditional houses and through more then 250 years old churches. The trail is starting from the city of Teius, situated at 80 km South from Cluj Napoca. From this point we left the European road to enter on the "Geoagiului Trail". In Teius we can visit the Catholic Church, founded by Iancu de Hunedoara, built at 1443.

The partners for the Limestone Trail are: the Local Council of Teius City and the Local Councils of the Rîmet, Întregalde, Stremt si Galda de Jos communes. At the starting and ending points of each route that belongs to the Limestone Trail you can find informative pannels and along the routes are installed indicating signs for each visiting objectives included in the Limestone Trail.
